With the release of Monster Hunter Rise on PC, and if you’re a fledgling hunter and don’t really know which one to go for, it can get quite overwhelming.īut don’t you worry because we’ve listed down the best weapons to get in Monster Hunter Rise. Just so i know what high i should be chasing when i pick up a different weapon. One of Monster Hunter Rise’s key selling points is its plethora of weapons and weapon types that hunters can use and learn to master. So the main reason i put up this thread is to hear, specifically, what about your favorite weapon in Rise makes it your favorite weapon, and what about it makes your dopamine flow. Hell, i still haven't picked up DB on Rise, since i immediately fell in love with the glaive. Now, this is only my own biased opinion, as i didn't invest as much time on other weapons as i did on the DB and the IG to really know how to use them. ![]() Not only that, but Advancing Roundslash is extra satisfying as a counter, specially since i loved Aerial Style on GU. Advancing Roundslash, Jumping Advancing Slash and Tornado Slash make me feel like i'm drilling through the monsters. However, on Rise, of all the weapons i've tried (GS, Hammer, CB, LBG, HBG and Bow), none felt as satisfying to use as the glaive. When i managed to get the hang of it, it made me feel like a human blender. On all three games i've tried pretty much every weapon (except Bow and HH) and I've always felt, between those three games that the dual blades were the most satisfying weapon. ![]()
